Developer Genshin Impact has confirmed the release date for the upcoming update to patch 3.1. In a blog post, HoYoverse announced a reduction in the duration of patch 3.0 to 3.2 from six to five weeks.
In other words, the Genshin Impact 3.1 patch release date will fall on September 28, 2022.
This 3.1 update will coincide with the second anniversary of Genshin Impact. Based on this, it is likely that players will get more new events and various prizes.
In the upcoming 3.1 episode, players are predicted to get four different characters, two of which are new characters.
However, some well-known leakers have revealed the possibility that the developer will add some five-star characters in patch 3.1, such as Venti and Eula.

In addition, several sources have uploaded images of the new location, which is expected to be an extension of the Sumeru region. According to the leak, this new location is a wasteland with new systems, many chests, world quests and Dendroculi.
So far, it is known that Cyno will be an Electro Polearm DPS character and Nilou, who is expected to use Sword Hydro DPS. Most likely, Cyno and Cancade will appear in the first half and Nilou will be in the second half of the update. As mentioned earlier, the manufacturer has not officially confirmed this information.
